Hi everybody, My name is Ben and I am a hobby blacksmith/bladesmith from Medicine Hat, AB. I have been doing it for about 3 years now, and i hope to do it forever! Finding the craft pulled me out of some dark places and letting me have the creative outlet that is also functional was exactly what was missing from my life. Thanks gents. Yes i do forge my own damascus. I used to do it the hard way, but there is a young guy in town that built a forging press so i have been using that lately.
