Hi everyone! my name is Cam. I am new to this forum thread world.. especially with knives. I have been crafting knives for about 2 years off and on now, and 110% LOVE this hobby/craft/brilliance. I started building my own cause "I love sharp things!". but they get expensive, and can only own so many before you finally realize. How many people own this exact same knife? Is there any real pride? To see in front of you, something you crafted yourself. That one off, one of a kind blade your proud of. That you have given to a family member for his big hunt. or his/her fishing trip. That is what bought me to the craft. Thanks.
Hi Cam, Welcome to the forum. No...there is nothing cooler than crafting a knife with your own hands and knowledge. I must warn you, it is a highly addictive pursuit. I too started with a fascination with sharp things. For me it started with a Cold Steel knife 20 years ago, which I still carry daily. I think you are going to fit in just fine here! Dan
