    Hello,

I am newbie and was so glad to find this proper friendly Canadian forum.

I grew up learning both woodwork and metalwork. However, I left the metalwork slide a bit because of time space and "life". I’m interested in knife making and I’m and just starting up...I am hoping to build a 2x72 grinder soon. I have been reading other posts and it is informative.

I look forward to connecting with as many of you as I start this exciting hobby.

I probably mention this to every beginner but check out Dan's knife blog he has tons of good info, templates and do it yourself grinder plans plus lots of tutorials.

On mine I have been slowly posting heat treating information that I have collected over the years as well.
