Hello everyone, Thank you to those responsible for this site. I have found a lot of great info on technique and supplies in these pages, and hope to be able to contribute as well. I got into forging knives after deciding that my welding career up north had reached the end of its course. Best decision ever....unless you ask my bank.... As a welder, I have been smashing hot steel on the job for quite some time, and have dabbled in blacksmithing along the way, always having fun. Making knives is the most satisfying work I've ever done. There is so much to learn and explore. Glad to be here, and thank you for having me. Aaron
