Hi everyone, my name is Jeff and I've been dabbling in knife making for a year or so. I make lot's of mistakes and usually have to do things 2 or 3 times before I get it right but I'm learning. Right now I'm just doing the stock removal method however I hope to move into the blacksmithing part of it in the next year or so. I hope you all don't mind questions! :)

    Hi Jeff. Welcome to CKM.

This is a good place to learn more. We've got lot's of friendly, knowledgable folks here who are more than willing to share what they've learned. We all started out "dabbling" until the madness took over completely. And if you only have to do things over 2 or 3 times, you're starting better than some of us.

Oh, and we LOVE questions. As long as you're okay with some of the answers being "it depends...."
