Hi I've been collecting Knives for a bit mostly gentleman's folders and have decided to start making knives for the past month I've been talking to a lot to knife makers and reading a pile of information and also gathering equipment. I also was at the Canadian Knifemakers Guild Saturday and Sunday I had a great time bought some knives on Saturday and knife making supply's 154CM steel , Corby & loveless Bolts , some brass and stainless steel pin and tube material and some nice wood for scales on Sunday just have to decide what pattern I want to try first and work slows down. My day job is Motorcycle Mechanic and Custom Bike Builder I usually take 2 or 3 months off in the winter this will be prime knife making time I'm really excited to get started

All credit goes to Robert Laufer. He does an excellent job covering the shows. You can even look back at the previous years.
Welcome, Kevin. Good to see you were able to post finally. Are you thinking about making some of those gentlemen's folders yourself?
There are lots of good folks here who can help with any problems. I look forward to seeing your work!
