    Just saying hi to everybody,

Landed here due to a 2X72 grinder build and sucking up all the info I can.
I'm Ex Master Auto Mechanic, Gunsmith, Locksmith, Home Engineer.
I'm 64 yrs young, semi retarded, and spend as much time in my shed as I'm told.

    Hey Dave,

Nice to have you in the forum!

I lived in South Canterbury for bunch of years. For sure spent a few days in Blenheim waiting on the Interislander. ;-) Cook Straight can get nasty at times.

Also, I've made a couple of 2x72s in the past decade. If I can be of help, I surely will.

Hi Dan This is weird...it is because of you that I found this forum, I was following a build of yours on a other site, I had 63 screens open, (Did you build a Magnetic Vise for the 2X72)and I was just playing 'pacman' with tooling information. I'm into just building shop tooling.
I admire knife making skills and those that build Live Steam Locos etc......me ...I just love tooling, and now, I am infatuated with Aliexpress, I don't give a Rats fat Ass in its built in China as long as it is accurate and does the job.
I Have Started A 2X72 Build based on Phil Vandelay's Design but I use Solidworks and I will incorporate some Ideas By Travis Wurtz.
Would like to have a chat some time on your tooling and Canada & New Zealand.
In the mean time stay safe in this crazy world we now have.
    Regards Beagles.
