I'm a Canadian living in Costa Rica. I've been finishing blades for about a year -hope to get into blade making soon. I've done handles in Central American hardwoods, bone, micarta and stacked leather so far. I've also started making leather sheaths. Lately I've become enamoured of Finnish and other Scandinavian blades.

Welcome to the forum. I could use a bit Costa Rican weather right about now. It would be great to see what fun you get up to there. Dan
Welcome to the forum. Canadian in Costa Rica, eh? So a CanaRican? Costanadian? : ) I'm looking forward to some of the exotic wood handles. Well, exotic for us. I guess if you live there exotic wood is just wood.
Welcome guycr! Bring some of that exotic wood back with you when you come back! Costa Rica... I'm jealous!
