I'm a Canadian living in Costa Rica. I've been finishing blades for about a year -hope to get into blade making soon. I've done handles in Central American hardwoods, bone, micarta and stacked leather so far. I've also started making leather sheaths. Lately I've become enamoured of Finnish and other Scandinavian blades.

Welcome to CKM. I'm envious of all the great woods you have access to there. Can't wait to see what you make with them.

    Welcome to the forum.

I could use a bit Costa Rican weather right about now. It would be great to see what fun you get up to there.

Welcome guycr! If I have the name right, is it the Puukko knife style that you like? If so I love that style too, haven't made one yet, but my plan is for that style to be my first hidden tang knife ;)
