Hi Guys, after being in forced absence for quite a while, do to no more shop tools....( had to sell to survive) I decided to get back in to the art , not so much knife making but handles....this until I have funds to re stock the shop. so after seeing what I had left tool wise I found my trusted dreamel and a few antlers. This is my first attempt with this medium. started simple to get the hang of it again. antler I used was a white tail deer antler. Let me know what you think, and also if I would sell, how much do you guys think I could ask cheers
looks like a good start, have you seen Neil Fehr's work? A carver out of Manitoba https://www.facebook.com/neil.fehr.3
I wish i could carve. I'd love to hand carve a knife handle. Nice work PeterP. I have no idea what something like this would sell for. I'm still struggling with selling any of my knives at all. I feel guilty charging for something when I'm still learning and it's not perfect.
I Hear you Todd, Its hard to set a price with out getting the feeling of over charging. I have been starring at this handle all week and still think there is more to do to it...and most likely ill be working on it again over the weekend. and thank you by the way
