General purpose knife

    I like to think this is what I'd want a general purpose knife for me to look like. I'd prefer have a saw, hatchet or larger knife as well.

    Dimensions are 3/16" by 1.5" stock, Blade 3.5" OAL 8".
    Five inch wheel, low speed hollow grind. Much easier to do a good job for a rookie like me on low speed. I just tried one on high speed and blew right through the center!

    Brass bolstered with 5460 year old Carbon Dated Bog Oak, 2 mosaic pins and a brass tube lanyard hole, mirrored blade. Holes for weight reduction. If only I made my own sheaths.... (I'm more of a folder guy no sheath required :)

    is that your new Bader hollow grind Jarad ? looks good ............

    That's looks like a really sturdy belt knife. Well done. It made me realize I've never really tried a hollow grind. I'm going to have to come up with a project that calls for it.

    That's the Bader at work Rob. Thanks for the compliments guys. I wish I had a platen to Flat Grind...
    Maybe next year.
