From Bucks auto parts

    I just flet like posting a pic of a knife that I am allmost finished,,,Just thinking of etching the blade but havent decided how to make it look yet.
    The blade is forged and filed from a coli spring found at bucks auto parts in the chev car section,,so I am going to beleive that it is froma chev sedan
    The handle is made from 3 sperate chunks of box elder burl and paduk spacers.
    As offen I soak the finished handle in a mix of boiled linseed oil and turpintine mix for a natural stabilized finish.
    Hope you all like it..This was a fun project.

    That does look like a good user and I love the handle. I hope you'll post some pics when it's all finished -- or even better, how about a tutorial on how you do your etching?
