First sheath!..for an unfinished knife!

    Here's a sheath I made yesterday and today for the knife I'm working on! I doodled a deer skull on there to go with the deer antler handle

    I'm going to echo what Steve said. Very nice work. I have yet to try out the tooling in leather but seeing what you just did there makes me want to give it a go.

    Very nice leather work. Great finish. I am not generally a fan of rivets on a sheath but those are a nice accent and I especially like the retention strap hook. Very nice. Do you mind if I ask where you picked that up? I am working on a package which that would be perfect for. Great job on the carving too.

    Thanks guys! Still haven't had a chance to get that knife finished.

    Civilman, the rivets are round stock hammered over washers and I made the hook from some brass flat stock

    very nice mark . the rivet idea is a pretty cool idea . are the antlers dyed or is it just the the pic , they look bluish color ?

    doesn't go with that knife Mark !! :rolleyes: however that would fit my last textured blade I'll bet !! :cool::p --beer icon--
