After seeing Brads razor post I realized that I didn't post my razor I finished up a couple weeks ago. These damn things are tricky.. I didn't realize there was so much to take into consideration with geometry on them, hence the first few fixed blades I did weren't even close. The next razor design I have drawn up is straight, this smile grind had me frowning a lot :(

I don't know how people don't kill themselves when shaving using these things, but this one is so pretty and stylish that it makes me want to try shaving with it...

That's looking like a perfect grind. The peining, the wood, really classy product. Do you know how much these things go for? $$$ Great job.

Great job, really nice. Razors look easy don't they but they are a bugger to make. Geometry is a monster and if anyone thinks burning the temper out of a ordinary knife is easy try a razor.

Looks awesome! Love the Spanish point style razors. Your grind looks great!

Roman - Shaving with a straight is really not that difficult. You are not going to kill yourself unless dragging a blade sideways across your throat is something you can't control yourself with... lol! I just takes a little practice to figure out the optimal angles on the different contours of your face to get an optimal shave. It is actually a very enjoyable process and a hobby unto itself!

Very nice, also very brave. I haven't even attempted a smiling razor yet. The wood and brass compliment each other nicely. Have you given it a test run yet?

This reminds me an old joke about a man who invented a shaving machine. Machine looked like a black cube with an oval hole in it. He was asked how it works.
    - You put your face in the hole and razors inside shave. That's it.
    - Hmm... But all human faces are of different shape...
    - Yes, but only before the first time.
