Hi Guys, here is my first clip point, had fun with this one and added a full blade engraving.
the engraving took about 11 hours to complete. Next for the scales I used red mallee burl. Its just gorgeous, the pictures do not do it justice. brass pins and tube. the steel is 01...now on to the leather.
    Hope you guys like it.

Wow can you say "Engraver's cramp"? LOL Really well done Pierre! Did you start with a pattern or all free-handed?

Thanks Dan, I started with a design that I found online for this one, and basically use a sharpy to freehand it on the blade, from there I turn on the dremel and trace out the lines just scratching the metal first ( getting all the sharpy marks off). then I just work at it like I would be drawing with a pencil and gradually get the lines deeper. only difference is you cant erase your mistakes..

Lol thanks Bobby its like drawing, but with no mistakes allowed ..:p
But if you do, you can either grab some sand paper and start over...or cover it by making your mistake flow in to the design.
