First Attempt

    Well this is my first attempt at a full O1 forged knife. Made using a wood burning forge with a mixture of wood, charcoal and coal.

    Fully heat treated and tempered with techniques found on here.

    Only thing is I used a maul as an anvil and a 12oz framing hammer.

    Comment and suggestions welcome.

    interesting handle shape, the joys of shaping steel. Have to break down and get a forge myself one of these days.
