Evenheat or Paragon or ?

    considering all options for buying an oven........
    anyone have experience will the ovens mentioned ?
    any input is appreciated...........
    salt pot or something shop made is also in the mix.

    I don't think there's much to choose between the EvenHeat and the Paragon ovens in terms of features. The only thing I can think of is that the Paragons have an optional gas tube, if you want to run an atmospheric oven. Of course a bit of tubing and the judicious use of a drill will get you the same thing in an EvenHeat.

    Our guy Cal uses a salt pot all the time. Hopefully, next time he's online, he can offer some insight into them.

    As far as I am concerned a salt pot is the ONLY way to heat treat.

    does anyone have any "how to's" for salt pots ? as in making one.............
