I was thinking about buying an Evenheat oven. I can easily find the outside dimensions but I see nothing on how much clearance it needs around it. It’s really the back I’m concerned about, the sides and front won’t be a problem. There’s drywall on the wall where the back will be. Anyone have an answer?
I don't have a specific answer for even heat, but my sketchy homemade kiln barely has any heat dissipation on the outside. Its like 90C on the outside surface after sitting for an hour at 1900. I say you'd be fine with a minimum of 6 inches. Drywall is somewhat fire-resistant, so I really don't think you'll have an issue.
