Well guys, here it is, the eagle skinner.
This one was a fun one to make, and to top it of I finally made it to Burlington and got some nice wood for the scales.
so break down of the skinner.
    O1 steel
skinner template from our friend Dan Da man!
    scales: Zebra wood.
engraving took about 5 hours taking all in to account, setting up to finish.
the H.T. left behind enough discoloration to add some definition to the engraving .
    Hope you guys like it.
    comments and critiques very welcome!
    Cheers

Pierre, that's the contrast in the engraving I was thinking of. Nice!

Looking good, should be okay if not used as a hammer.

Very cool. How are you holding the stone in.

Hey Icho, I got some bevel setting rings from Michaels, made a recess hole and they had some type of gem glue to hold down the bevel.
once dry you put the gem in and close the bevel around it.
