Dyed Stabilized maple

I have been dyeing some of the wood I have before stabilizing it and it is turning out real good.
I just went out to the shop and ground the biggest block I had and ground right past the center. I am getting full penetration through the middle. I sanded it down to 1000 grit and put 1 coat of boiled linseed oil on it. Looks really good.

Jim you have to get a photo hosting site like PHOTOBUCKET. Post your pictures there and then copy the (image code) into the form post and this will put your pictures in the post.

What type of maple?

 

I get all my maple from B.C. I get curly, spalted and burl.
