Hey! So excited by my new hobby! Just started in the shallow end by restoring, reshaping, polishing and sharpening a gorgeous M42 kiritsuke, to which I added a nice handle of Hawaiian Koa (posh way of saying 'surplus hardwood flooring' ). Absolutely beautiful! By my standards, anyway (you have to start somewhere). Everyone I buy gifts for will now be getting knives for the next ten years at least. So now I'm hooked and obviously expect to become a veritable Minosuke Matsuzawa in no time (joke, ok?). Love to all, Dom
Glad to hear you're enjoying it. Posting pictures is a bit of an adventure on this forum but it would be great to see it. All the best Dave
Yeah - can't see how to post images unless they're at a shared location (URL). Unless someone has a magic trick?
Yes - you need to post a link (using the media icon) to a photo stored elsewhere. I opened a Blogger account just for myself and use it for photos but here's a how-to link from this forum https://www.canadianknifemaker.ca/index.php?threads/how-to-post-pictures-in-the-forums.3/#post-24124 Dave
