Hello all, I hope this covid crap finds you all healthy and better yet...well supplied. I did this dagger but things didn't turn out quite like I wanted. There are a couple flaws in this blade that were the result of overlapping edges after I twisted it. My billet was not big enough to grind them out without losing the bulk of the blade. The stone is just a piece of glass that my wife gave to me to cover up a hole that I created while grinding off the pin. I finished the blade just for the heck of it cause, after all, it's a learning project. Oh yea...Tommy got a 10 inch wheel for his grinder, can't wait to try it out.

Great job Tom. My forge doesn't get hot enough to forge billets so I envy you. Maybe I can fix that this summer.

A friend once told me there's a legend that imperfections are good - it's a way for evil spirits to get out. I can't speak to that but I have to say that I practice it a lot. Most of my stuff is guaranteed evil spirit free.

    Regards
    Dave
