This is a drop point skinner in a tight twist Damascus with mammoth tooth, stainless liners and nickel silver guard and cap. The vine filing goes all the way around and protrudes from the handle. And of course when I took the pictures I noticed some more polishing to do on it.
Thanks a lot guys. I've been working on this one for a long time. It kept getting put off to the side for other things. I didn't make the blade. It is one of a few of Grand Leavit's in Idaho that I bought years ago on ebay. I did some grinding on it and reshaped it a little, re-etched it, did the filework and handle. ( Grand doesn't sell billets ) Now I guess I'll see if I can sell it to finance some more belts and other goodies.
Thanks a lot Grayzer I have to head over to Wallyworld and see if I can get a new battery for the camera. I'll post a couple better pics of the handle when I get back.
