The Mother-in-law has been dropping hints for quite some time about a pairing knife. I decided to give her this one for mothers day this year.
1080 and 15N20 Damascus with some not so exciting desert ironwood I had kicking around.

Nothing like a beautiful piece of work for some inspiration. I figure at least 20 years before I produce something like that.

"not so exciting desert ironwood", I would love to see what you consider exiting wood scales. I think it's beautiful. Giving your mother in-law a sharp knife as a gift? Wow... that's really breaking the stereotype : )

Ya, I got excited by the "not so exciting" ironwood. (Maybe I am weird.)

Thanks for the compliments guys. I've got a pretty good mother-in-law, so I'm not too worried.
