Acquired a new sewing machine for the shop.
Cowboy Outlaw hand operated stitching machine. Capable of stitching thick leather with heavy thread. I have tested up to 11/16" thick leather.
Cast iron and stell construction. Simple to operate. One pull of the handle is one stitch.
Knife sheath example. 3 layers of 8/9 oz water buffalo leather sewn with #277 (0.6mm) thread).

Wow, very precise stitching. Do you still punch/drill the holes or does it to that all in one go?

All in one. Hole and stitch at the same time. Machine is designed for stitch leather up to about 3/4" thick. The needle is about 1.5 mm in diameter.

I don't sew, at all. But i've always found them to be amazing machines. Marvels of engineering.
