I guess with everything going to Hell in the last month nobody is making anything. ( or at least posting anything )
I finished these up a couple of weeks ago and named them accordingly.

Forge looks like you have been busy!! Nice job, what type of wood did you use on the scales?

Nice! Like them both, but I’m gravitating to the top one, very nice no-nonsense design. Impeccable work as always Cal.

I have a shop to clean top to bottom before I will make anything this year. And after that before I make one I also have a dust-free plan in place for the dedicated grinding-room.

    They are both Iron wood.
Gary when all Hell broke loose I got out that big piece of Diamond Willow (attacked it with the band saw ) and finished up a stick. I think it looks pretty good just have to make up a lanyard for it. If we ever get out of the house I will take it over and show you. ( thanks for the wood )

Glad to hear you are keeping busy, I look forward to seeing how you approached working the wood there are so many ways to shape it. Sounds like we will need to find you more diamond willow because this thing isn't likely to end any time soon let me know. I've been working on the Spitfire to stay busy, but seeing the finish on those scales I think I should play with a wood project.

I love the geometry on the top one. Very different. Both nice.

    Excellent work Cal!
Is the hidden tang knife asymmetrical ground or is it ground on the other side like that too?

Dan they are both asymmetrical. It's the only way to make most kitchen knifes in my opinion.

Maybe it's the same spelling rule that gave us the Toronto Maple Leafs : )
