Clip point fighter / bowie

    Here is the latest off my bench. Stabilized spalted maple handle, Brass guard, 1084 blade 8" long. The blade is 2000 grit finish handle 800. What do you guys think? I might play with the handle a bit more (probably should leave well enough alone)

    Love it Brad. I wouldn't touch it any more. If you are anything like me you will always find something to change or adjust "just a little bit". I can work on a finished knife forever. Lol

    I know the feeling. Some times you have to stop before you go too far. I did hit the handle with a little tung oil to brighten it up a bit

    Thanks guys I decided to give the handle a little tung oil and leave it. Did the oil ever bring the grain out, I like spalted maple

    Love it. And man do I love the handle shape. I have tried this shape a couple of times myself without success. Awesome.
