So here's a chopper pretty much set to go out the door. 5160. Nice and tough. I've beat on this pretty good and it's held up well. There are a few scratches on the blade from sharpening but the customer wants this painted black. So he's getting it this way until my duracoat shows up then it will get a matte black finish. I like the way the sheath turned out. It's my third so I'm pretty happy with it. Blade is about 4" total about 8 1/2". As always all thoughts and comments welcome

Looks like it should be a good performer. The handle looks well sculpted and comfortable as well. Very Becker BK2 ish and it seems to be one of the more popular knives with outdoor enthusiasts who use their gear hard so I think it should do well.

Thanks a lot for the comments. And it was modeled after the Becker series. The customer wanted one like it. But wanted me to make one so we picked some materials out and here's what we got. I like the design but in the future I'll have more distal taper to the tip. It did balance out nice. For a heavy blade, and it's a 1/4 thick, it moves nice. Balance point is right about the middle. And it goes out razor sharp. Funny looking forearms for a while again. :)
