KN58-3 7.75" Chef's Knife From 3/32" Nitro-V stock, this full tang 7.75" chef's knife features dyed stabilized maple burl scales and 416 stainless outside pins with a 1/4" mosaic center pin. Dan
Another sweet looking knife Dan. I am almost embarrassed by the output of some of you guys. I haven't even been in the shop since you posted your last bunch of knives. There must be a lot of pretty happy chef's out west (or all over I suppose). Are you doing mostly kitchen knives lately?
A few field knives to make but chef's knives are in demand. This one is actually a "sorry won't make it for Christmas order." Better late than never. I've got one clip point hunter, one 8" fillet knife and one hidden tang chef's knife coming up. Dan
What dye did you use in the resin? There is some nice figure going on there in that maple and as well in the other spalted maple knife you posted, I really like that one.
Nice knife, how much would that cost me ? BTW, I live near the NJ Steel Baron who came up with the Nitro-V formula.
That was sold for $195 plus shipping. Went to Wisconsin so the buyer probably got it for around US$150.
