At least, that is what I am calling it. I modified a design of a folder I found online, and turned it into a fixed blade belt knife I can use while camping and hiking. I went camping early in March and found that an earlier design I was using for the first time was a dud. This is much more comfortable in my hand and the quality feels better to me as well. The steel is the last of my first steel purchase 5/32" O1. Scales are canvas micarta with stainless loveless bolts. I used that 1x30 i posted about to do the scales. What a difference. It took me minutes to complete what was taking me hours by hand. I'm sold on the technology thing! I feel like the quality of my knives is starting to improve in noticeable ways (to me anyhow). I did try my hand at a sheath with some scrap leather I had. I failed miserably. It looks pitiful, and is not fit to be photographed. I will purchase some appropriate leather and try again. It isn't going to be any use to me until i have a carry method. Anyways, as always I welcome feedback.
