Here is another puukko knife I just finished.
Blade hand forged by Randal Graham out of 1086 steel. Blade length 90 mm, total length 195 mm.
Handle - birch burl and reindeer antler with Sami carving.
Sheath - veg tanned leather with maple insert.

    Roman, amazing work as usual.

I am intrigued by the dark one in the centre of the 8th photo. Is that a leather wrap on the handle with the weave in it? That's incredible!

Dan, thanks! That dark one only has leather on the belt hanger. Sheath and handle are made of walnut with weave carved in wood...

You carved the walnut to match the pattern on the sheath? Or is the sheath made of wood? Either way all I can say is...

    Wow.

Dan, sheath is made of wood and pattern is carved. If I knew how much work it is I would never... On the second thought I would still do it. ;) It was fun and the result totally worth the efforts.

Wow. Those are amazing... I love how the reindeer antler really contrasts everything else.
