Just wanted to let people know about Bi-Metal Industrial Products in Edmonton. I checked in with them and picked up a couple of packs of VSM ceramic belts. A small shop with friendly folks. Brenda will be happy to take your order. Ask for Peter if you have have any technical questions.

Belts are sold in packages of 12 and in the $7 to $8 per belt range. As others have mentioned before in the forum VSM ceramics are very good. I can assure you that there will be no disappointment with these.

They are a couple hours away. A while back I called an industrial supply place a few minutes from work but they don't stock the . They can get them but I have to get them by the box which isn't a problem as long as they don't have extra charge because it is not a stocked item. Once I get a list together I willwill find out. I will even add sheets to it so that I am set up for a year .

    I didn't ask about 2" x 48". Give them a call.

I've been buying from Rob for the past 4 years. I wish they offered more brand choices as they seem to only carry Saint-Gobain (Norton) belts in the online store.

After a Cal suggested VSM belts, I gave them a try. I am totally impressed and find them to be noticeably longer lasting than Blazes for slightly cheaper at $8 and change for a 60 grit. Well, and I can't complain about the postage when I can drive by and pick some up on my lunch break. ;)
