    Hi there,
Thought I would introduce myself. Here in the lower mainland of British Columbia. Where we stay wet and rarely complain! (choke). Moved here from the Interior/Okanagan and plan on moving the family back there next year.
new to forging and knifemaking but not new to steel/metal work.
Have had a love for all things steel/metal since I started working in the industry in 2003. Journeyman welder/fabricator and have gained some valuable knowledge through my 15 years so far working with these materials. Always loved the craftsmanship of forging and grinding a beautiful piece of metal with your own hands. I am in the process of gathering my equipment (anvil) and building my forges.

Designing and fabricating is another passion of mine and love to share any knowledge I can.

I look forward to sharing and learning from all of you.

    Respect
    D

Welcome Woven. Like a zombie, I look forward to picking your brain. Sounds like you have some great knowledge. You'll find a lot of that here. Some great people with great skills here.

Welcome to CKM. As ToddR said, it looks like you've got a good leg up on getting into knifemaking. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create.
