Bbq Pit Master Slicer

    This was a special request from a local BBQ pit master, requesting a go to slicer .
    So here it is.
    Blade is 01 ( as usual )
    bolster is brass
    scales are California redwood burl.
    overall length is 18 inches
    comments and critics are always welcome.

    that's cool. Nice looking knife. I have made a couple of kitchen knives out of 01 as well. Over time (the first one was around last Christmas), they take on this awesome looking colour. Almost like it's been dipped in acid. It's got this really nice grey/black patina on one of them. One is too new but it's cool to know that within a year, they will look almost like old world knives that have been passed down. Or do you protect yours somehow?

    Thank you Todd, nope I don't protect them, I let them build there own character...:D
