Back after 20 years away

I don't make knives (I wish) but I learned to work with leather in the late 70's in high school and had a small side business for sometime. Quit that when I started a real company related to my engineering degree.

Having just retired after selling my "real" business and after 20 plus years away from leather, I've blown the dust off of my tools and am now trying to learn what I forgot and hopefully make some improvements.

Currently working from my old leather scrap bin making practice pieces. Scrap bin project #4 was a knife sheath for my 36 year old Grohmann skinner. The old sheath was in pretty bad shape. Photos below.

Making this has gotten me very interested in pursuing more opportunity for knife sheaths. So if any of you have a knife that needs a sheath and you want something customized, I could use the practice. As long as I can work from my scrap bin, you don't have a timeline, are willing to ignore the possibility of any well covered up small errors, and will allow me to post a picture on my blog with your knife in it, I think I can make it very attractive for you to help me with my practice.
