Just finished these two up for a client. First is a skinner in buckshot pattern damascus. 7" overall with a 3" blade. The handles are sheep horn. Next is a nice little bird and trout knife. 7" overall with a 3" blade. The handle is some really nice stabilized curly Koa. Thanks for looking
Very nice. I love that sheep horn it seems almost translucent from the picture. Is that hard stuff to work with?
It is actually quite translucent. More so on the one side. You can actually see the damascus pattern through the scale. However unfortunately you can also see the extra hole I drilled through the tang.... The horn was very nice to work with but stinks really bad when cutting grinding or sanding.
