So being a commercial Ready mix driver, I do a lot of shifting in a 12 hours day shift. After a couple of years of doing this, I developed a few soreness to my shifting arm...starting first with my shoulder, moving down to my elbow, and now more recently I developed a lump in my palm where the shifter rest. At first I would pop a aleave every morning but that eventually don't do much. this weekend I tried to track down the origin of the cause, the vibration caused by the stick shift....and being that these trucks are not recent some times the transmission will make it hard to shift smoothly and cause it to grind and vibrate like crazy. And that right there is the culprit. I know...I know... learn to shift better, but some times your tired...end of shift tired and the stick int cooperating . So I went out on a quest to find anti vibration gloves...hmmmm not cheap and way to warm for driving. so I got creative. made myself a leather anti vibration palm protector with a mad max kinda look...sorry no spikes. the palm is padded with two layers of packing foam. will be trying it tomorrow hope this works ! ( I hate doctors)
Your new nickname will be Thanos! (*Realises only comic-book geeks and Marvel movie goers will get that reference!)
Thats totally the infinity gauntlet, stones and all! Well, maybe the summer version of it. The infinity bracer. I bet Thanos doesn't get a sore hand when he drives stick.
So here is a update ....the gauntlet works just great, don't feel any vibration at all. the only thing I would change is adding snaps...
