Every time I look at it I want to make adjustments so I will just try to not look at it till my steel gets here... I hope in a few days.

    Thanks Rob.
The shape of the handle is kind of bugging me. It's kind of what I want but I can't get it to look right. I think I will use that rough idea but when I have the shape in my hand I should be able to go from there.... I hope!

I would say a drill press is pretty high in the priority list. I tried free hand drilling holes through scales and I could never get it right. What size drill press is it?

I did scales on a bought blade with my air drill and it turned out great but likely got lucky and don't want to really do it again.

It is the full height floor type. 16 speed and 5/8 chuck. Reg$299 on for $199 plus I have $50 gift card from Christmas.

That's a good deal! I wouldn't hesitate to buy that one. Mine is just a tiny little bench too with a 1/4 horse motor. It gets the job done tho.

I was looking at bench style in kijiji but I have so many things that need a bench and not enough benches. When I saw this one on sale I figured I have to get it and I can ocasionally use the extra height for bigger stuff.

If I had more space in dads shop I would go with the full size drill press. It seems like my dads shop is all bench lol.

Well I just picked up my drill press. Happy about that but, the order I placed last Thursday for supplies has not even shipped yet.

    Not impressed.

LOL. I'll see what I can do. I have to put it together but even before I do that I have to clear a spot on the floor to unwrap. My garage is a disaster. Actually kind of embarrassing. I have been kind of cleaning it for a while now but it feels like it is getting worse.

Well Rob. Here is proof that I got the drill press. Lol

Garage is still a mess but I was able to clear enough to take the pic. Hoping this Sat after work I can do some cleaning while I have a couple beers. I never drink beer anymore.

Should I make the blade from O1 or D2. D2 is on order but O1 I can get tomorrow if I want. .125 x 1.5 x 18 for $15.99 around the corner from work. Doesn't sound bad to me.
