Aluminum Plates

    Hey all,

    Was just wondering where you have purchased/ gotten your aluminum plates from? I just priced out a
    1" thick 6" wide by 20" long plate and was quoted $120 CAD. This was my first quote...does this seem right? Of course I will be getting two so $240 plus tax and the shipping.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    I found mine on eBay. It was a couple years ago but I’m quite sure they were around $150 at the time, but that was for 1x4x18

    Check around the scrap metal yards or electrical surplus places for copper bus bar. I have two pieces of 1/2" thick by 4" by about 14" long. They really work well. Copper has nearly twice the thermal conductivity as aluminum.
