hey guys having a hard time getting a proper air fuel mixture. I have a propane vertical forge 9 inch inside diameter. blower motor for my air. four inch plastic pipe about 2 and half feet long then its caped with a block of wood with an inch and a half hole in the middle for my pipe to stick in then threaded onto my ball valve. Problem is way too much flame coming out of my opening flame coming out a good foot. my openings are 3 by 4 and a half inches. And after running forge for about twenty minutes propane will just stop. i also put my 30 pounder propane bottle in a garbage can full of water to prevent freeze up

Sounds like the regulator is freezing up. What's your PSI at? Does it sputter before stops?

yes my regulator was freezing up. A much more expiernced knife maker came down and helped me set it up. I have much to learn i was running my propane way too rich.
