A small folder

    Here's another small slipjoint, suitable for EDC. I wanted to try something with more sharp edges and angles, and this is the result. To be honest, I'm not completely sure I like the design, though others who have seen it seem to. I'd appreciate your opinions.

    The specs
    Length closed: 84mm (3 1/2")
    Length open: 138mm (5 7/8")
    Usable blade: 50mm (2")

    Blade and back spring are O1
    Liners are brass with soldered brass bolsters
    Scales are chocolate paper micarta

    looks nice-what do you use to make the nail nick in the blade?

    I use a Dremel cut-off wheel in my mini mill-drill.

    Looks good though my concern would be that the sharp edges would wear on your pockets.

    I wondered about that too. I think this one is going to #1 son, so I should get some feedback on that.
