Actually my first dagger. I finished this one up last week for the Canadian Knifemaker's Guild show at the end of August. All that is left to do is sharpen. The blade is O-1 with stainless steel hardware. The handle is bubinga with a piece of buckeye burl. Now I have to decide if it should have a sheath or if I should make a stand for it. I'm open to suggestions.

It's a beauty. Love the finish on the blade. Did you turn the handle on the lathe?

Great looking work. I like the way you did the guard. Really adds to it.

Thanks guys. I was also thinking a stand and I finished it up before the guild show so I thought I'd add a couple more pics of the complete package. The stand is cherry.

Sweet. You dig out the router table for that? Works well with the roundness of the knife.

Thanks Dan. I don't have a router table but I wish i did. I have a really cheap and crappy hand held router from harbor freight. I tried holding the router by hand but it doesn't have much of a flat so i messed it up the first try so I took a board and drilled a hole thru it and mounted the router to it. It is more of a router board than a router table. Lol
