Hey guys. This year, for the first time, I got a table at the Metal art show and sale in wetaskiwin. Had an amazing time. Not only did I get to meet knifemakers such as Roger Hatt, Ed Storch, Clare Brokesma, Jay West and several others, but since I joined the wcka (west canada knife association) I got to attend an informal meeting over dinner. I was in full on fan boy geek out mode lol. The weekend was full of cool moments and I actually managed to sell a couple knives even with all the other amazing work to choose from. I was in a huge rush right up till the last minute even with having to finish sewing up a few sheaths while sitting at the table. So only just got the pictures taken of the ones that came home with me. Thanks for looking StaySharp
Beautiful work! I checked out the list of people at the show and there was some really nice looking work there for sure.
You're telling me. I didn't get around to starting any of the 18 knives I took until the 19th of august lolI was crazy busy for a few weeks.
I really like the angled plunge cut on those last few blades. I think that's called a ricasso? (maybe?) Anyway, I think it's a really interesting feature to have the full grind go on an angle like that. I've not seen that before.
