7.5'' not sure what to call it .....any idea's ??

    here's a pattern I've been thinking about , final put it to paper and then recently a template........
    very comfortable to hold, jimped thunmb grip , think this will make a great skinner.........comments very welcome

    I would guess it would be a caping knife....I really like that design Rob the handle looks great and the choil up front I bet would make it excellent for fine skinning for trophy deer. Great work!!!

    Love that profile rob. Looks like it would be a great knife for field dressing and skinning jobs. It looks like it would be comfortable in multiple grips making it very useful.

    The more I look at it the more possibilities I see in it. The exact same profile with the grind you drew on the template, some G10 or micarta, maybe carbon fiber, and throw a swedge on and it would be a great (I hate the word haha) "tactical" style knife. For some reason the two things I see when I look at it are some type of spear or an archery broadhead. Broadhead hunter or Broadhead skinner could work. However my opinions may not be worth much at this stage of the rum lol.
