5160&redwood Burl

Finished this one up today. 3.5" blade with full length false edge 4" handle made from 1/4" 5160 with redwood burl handles and nickle silver pins.

 

beautiful-is that a false edge or is it double edged?

Yes It is a false edge. Starting with 1/4" stock and being as short as it is I had to thin it out on top somehow. It started as a swedge and in getting both sides even ended up as a full Dagger grind lol

 

I like it! Good size for an EDC. The burl looks really good.

Thanks. Had a bit of an oops while dry fitting it all up and snapped one side in half. Luckily I had a leftover piece from a previous project and had just enough to save my ass lol.

Lol. It's just too bad that it was the match to the nicer side that broke.
