If anyone is interested I just bought a 5" x 5/8 shaft drive wheel from a gentleman in Florida for about 76 dollars cdn shipped. He lists on Ebay as leadmolds and also has his own website. On Ebay he doesn't ship to Canada but the 5" wheels are $48.00 us and he has other wheels at various prices. All very reasonable I thought. I contacted him and he said he would ship me one for $23.95 us the price of a flat rate box. I talked to him by phone and he said it would be ok to pass this along to the forum so anyone interested could contact him if they want. He said he does not inflate his shipping at all. Maybe someone building a grinder or needing replacement wheels might want to take a look at his stuff. His prices on ebay are actually cheaper than his website so you might want to check there first. Website is www.diygrinder.com This is the one I bought off ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/290972555750?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 I hope its alright to post this. I am not affiliated with this person in any way.

thanks grouch for the heads up, I suggested to him on another forum about shipping to Canada......told him there would be a good market for odd and ends.......
shipping from the USA to Canada is simple , its the initial hurdle and first time shippers that are reluctant to even try.........good for you on your purchase....let us know how it works for you. I actually like the simplicity of his new grinder design as well.....

Man his prices are awesome. I wish I would have found him a year ago when I was building my grinder. Even that little camp stove he makes looks really nice for packing in a bag for hiking, camping etc.

I have tried the new 5" wheel and there is nothing bad I can say about it. The quality and workmanship are top notch. There is an increase in bfpm but I haven't measured it. The domed surface also makes tracking adjustments easier than with my old flat 4".
