just finished this one today, unfortunately because of a mishap on the sander i had to bring the grind a bit higher than i wanted but i think it turned out decent.
Looks nice the way it is. A little late but I did same thing once and placed the blade flat on the belt and widened up the flat portion of the blade and only lost a little in thickness.
Nice second knife! I too prefer to work with my mistakes rather than starting again. I think it is a better way to learn...
