I had a vision, epiphany....or perhaps it was just gas. Anyway, this is what came out of it. Made from 5160 they are heat treated and sharp. I did multiple casts in brass and did a lot of hammering as the steel was 5/16 thick and I hate wasting steel so I drew it out. I tried to make them as identical as I could. They are not exact but pretty close. Close enough for a hand grenade in my book. The first one weighs in at 2.36 lbs and the second one is 2.45 lbs. The second one ended up being a half inch longer then the first. You could pillage an entire village with one of these and then move on to the next village and continue your rampage. You might consider sharpening it first because pillaging with a dull sword is just wrong. You also might want to check with your local authorities cause I believe that kind a thing is frowned on now. I think it was frowned on back then to. https://photos.app.goo.gl/6d7jyAP8NCW9RUnk9
Why is no one mentioning the plundering? Lol! Nice work mate, and nice to see larger pieces of work posted on the forum *thumb up*
Cool site, thx. I have a entire suit of armour that I made when I was in my 20's...long time ago. I used to belong to a group that dressed up as knights and then proceeded to beat the crap outa each other, lol. We used ratan instead of steel as there were not many rules in this and you had to sign a waiver in order to participate. I was the only person to ever show up the first time with a full suit of plate armour that didn't need any modifications in order to meet their requirements to fight.
