So this one sat a little while waiting for the last of the components. But it's finally all done. I posted this little knife a while back but now the sheath is complete so it's off to its new home.

That looks very good! The black monochrome of the blade and scales look like they were meant to be together. Are those black chrome Chicago screws?

Yes they are. I'm going to have to get some in a flat black. Those are what Tandy leather puts out as black chicago screws. They will do for now but I'll be finding a better source in the future.

Very nice looking job on the sheath Ryan!
If I might ask, where did you find the black eyelets?

Nope it's in there pretty snug. Fun stuff to work with. I'll likely end up making some holsters too. Knifekits was good to deal with and luckily I had someone bring my last order back across the border for me so I didn't get hosed on the duty and shipping. I got 4' square, 3/16 eyelets, dyes, 1/4 eyelets and a nice chunk of 1/4" canvas micarta for around 100 canadian. If I got the 4' of kydex here at Tandy leather it would have been 80 just for that.. Before tax!

I've had a couple pieces of kydex, eyelets and I forget what else for at least a couple of years now. You may have inspired me to get on it.

It's nice stuff but I like my leather as well. For the finish on the knife leather would be a little nicer. But I've got the complimentary acid bath with my warranty :) so one it's wears down too much I'll just dip it again.

Nice thing about kydex is that if you don't like the fit just re heat and go again. I managed to warm up my finger tips a few times but nothing as bad as hot steel

Whenever I get around to holsters I'll be sure to post the result.
