The Damascus is 1080 and 15N20@ 63RC. supplied by Cal G. This Damascus was not up to Cal's usual standards but good enough for my 1st kitchen cutter. Thanks Cal. Stabilized Oregon maple burl and desert ironwood with a touch of 316 stainless steel make the handle. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice! Doesn't look like you've missed a beat after 28 years.

Really nice. The design is great, the maple burl sets off the damascus well, and the mix of dark ironwood and stainless balance the look perfectly. I love the handle profile, too.

That knife is beautiful. You would never know you took a week off let alone 28 years. Look forward to seeing your future work as well.
