1095 Hunter With Koa Scales

    I finally got something finished a little 1095 hunter with Koa scales. The koa has some pretty nice grain

    I like the grain in the Koa. It really pops like 3D. Nice hamon too. Sweet.

    Stunning knife Brad. How did you find it working with the 1095 stock for this knife?

    I don't find it too much harder to deal with than 1084. You cant mess around on the quench. I think of 1095 as a poor mans w1 steel

    Very nice! Hamond has a good contrast. Kia is beautiful. May I ask where you got the wood?

    I got the wood from John Doyle, he is active over on knifedogs. He is an amazing knifemaker too check out some of his work if you go over there
